From 2006 through 2008, I worked as the Senior Writer/Editor in the Department of Marketing and Public Relations at Louisiana Tech University. I coordinated, wrote, and edited high profile university publications, including the alumni magazine, the university’s annual report, and the admissions’ viewbook. When I was not working on these projects, I wrote and edited admissions’ marketing materials, which included a newsletter, booklets, brochures, postcards, and posters. I also worked to promote college programs and research to media organizations. Louisiana Tech was a wonderful place to work, and I dearly miss many of my colleagues.
